Attached, you will find two flyers with a new exam offer from IIK Bayreuth. With this additional offer of A1 German exams, Ref. I together with the Language Center of the University of Bayreuth aim to accommodate students who have German language skills but have not yet been able to prove them with a recognized certificate (e.g., telc, Goethe, TESTDaF, DSH) or do not wish to attend a free language course during the semester or semester break at the Language Center. Additionally, they hope that the additional exam dates will make it easier for international students to prove their German language skills within two semesters.

In addition to the free German A1 language courses offered by the UBT Language Center, IIK offers exams at the required A1 level, which corresponds to the level of the final exam of the A1.1 courses at the Language Center. The exam fee for the IIK exam is 160.00 Euros. With this exam, students can provide the A1 proof they need to fulfill the German A1 language requirement (CEFR) from the admission letter.

The first dates for the new exam will be January 29, 2025, and March 12, 2025.
