Information on German courses during the 2023/2024 winter semester

English-medium Master programmes: students must have a certificate that they have reached (CEFR) A1 level German by the end of their first academic year. The language center of the UBT offers a variety of possibilites to achieve this level.
Info concerning the A1.1 (Grundkurs 1) is available here. Registration starts on 19.10. at 13:00.
Info concerning the A1.2 (Grundkurs 2) is available here. Registration starts on 19.10. at 13:00.
The courses are offered during the semester and also as "Block courses". Please check the language center's web page for more information. Course attendance is compulsory (in 4SWS courses, students may only miss four sessions without an excuse) and course registration automatically includes registration for the final exam at the end of the course.
Students with prior knowledge of German cannot register directly for a course (A1.2 or higher), they must submit an official certificate or first take a placement test.
